Founded over 50 years ago in Germany, we have evolved from a precision manufacturer into a leading expert in PFA transfer molding. Resulting from our capabilities, our current product portfolio includes high-quality lined fittings and spare parts, trusted by industry leaders such as Covestro and Bayer. In addition we do custom manufacturing of PFA-lined products, as well as developing reverse engineered spare parts.

Short Look Into the Past

1974
Dr. Mauer Werkzeugfabrik GmbH / Krefeld – Germany was set up to develop and produce highly specialized tools for quality and precision conscious customers in various industries like automotive, chemical and other industries.
2014
Advanced Fluoropolymer Devices GmbH / Kempen - Germany was set up to capitalize on the vast experience of the management team in the field of product development and transfer molding production systems for fluoropolymer materials such as PFA, FEP and others.
2017
The SPHERON9© and other lined valves and pumps are developed.
2015
Agreement to share the production facilities of Dr. Mauer Werkzeugfabrik to expand the production capabilities. Custom Made Products are now becoming available, as precision manufacturing enables the design and production of sophisticated tools and molds.
2017
GFT German Fluoropolymer Technik GmbH was set up to market lined valves and pumps, especially mag driven pumps.
2021
Expansion product line: GSO Strainer added. Requested by major customers.

Sino-German Joint-Venture Jiangsu GFT Equipment Engineering Co. Ltd. was founded to bring GFT to the Chinese Chemical Market and the broader Asia-Pacific Region.

Manufacturing

Our seasoned workforce, coupled with a state-of-the-art machine park featuring 3-axis turning, drilling and grinding and 5-axis milling, allow us to produce fittings, molds and parts for custom products as well as spare parts. Thereby we ensure quality of our products as well as reliable lead times.

Transfer Molding

Through our longstanding experience with transfer moldings and scalable equipment, we can reliably assemble all types of fittings but also custom products in various shapes, forms and sizes. For example, we contributed with our PFA-lining experience to the world largest heat exchanger in its respective class.

    PFA is characterized by an excellent chemical resistance coupled with relative high thermal stability and low friction properties. For this, our products are the ideal solution for industries handling aggressive chemicals, and other sensitive materials.

    Next to PFA, we are able to handle various composites, like PTFE and Carbon Composites used for our strainer basket. This expands our product portfolio as well as the custom made products we can produce.
