Swing check, ball check and control valves with PFA-lined wetted parts for backflow protection and regulation in corrosive lines.
Check valves stop reverse flow and protect pumps and equipment; control valves regulate flow and pressure. GFT9 builds both with a PFA lining: the Vibron9 swing check valve, the Prohibron9 ball check valve and the Imperium9 globe control valve with PFA bellows stem seal.

Frequently asked questions
Swing check or ball check valve?
The Vibron9 swing check valve covers larger lines up to DN 400 and closes against reverse flow without external energy, with no spring or pin that could corrode or wear. The Prohibron9 ball check valve has one moving part, a centre-guided ball, and suits dosing-pump discharges, small transfer lines and chemical injection.
How do I install a ball check valve?
Installed vertically (up to 60°), the ball closes the valve automatically. Installed horizontally (90° to 60°), it closes if the backflow is 1.5 – 2.5 m/s (water based), and a minimum differential pressure of 1 bar is required.
Can these valves be used under vacuum?
PFA lining anchored in dovetail grooves in the body — suitable for vacuum service; limits per P-T diagram or on request. The Imperium9 needs the special bellows for vacuum duty.
Which actuator and signal does the Imperium9 take?
Pneumatic or electric actuators, with positioners for HART, Profibus PA or Foundation Fieldbus. Name the actuator make and the control signal in your request.
Which trim should I choose for the control valve?
The standard plug and seat is the general trim; the V-plug is for small flow rates, cavitation risk and high differential pressure; the U-plug is available for DN 80 / DN 100 (NPS 3 / NPS 4) only. State flow, inlet and outlet pressure and medium in your request and we confirm the trim.
Which documents come with each valve?
Every valve is pressure-tested in Germany before shipment and ships with EN 10204 3.1 material certificates. The Vibron9, Prohibron9 and Imperium9 are designed and manufactured to the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU.
