Features
Backflow protection
Closes against reverse flow without external energy; no spring or actuator needed.
PFA-lined body and disc
The medium touches fluoropolymer only. Lining anchored in the body, transfer-moulded virgin PFA.
No spring or pin
Eliminates potential corrosion or mechanical wear.
Non-adhesive lining
Suited to sticky or pure media.
Thick-walled PFA lining
For safe handling of corrosive and slightly solids-containing media.
Vacuum service
PFA lining anchored in dovetail grooves in the body — suitable for vacuum service; limits per P-T diagram or on request.

FAQ
Questions we are often asked
PFA or PFA/AS lining?
PFA is the standard lining. PFA/AS is the antistatic version for media where electrostatic charge must be led off.
With or without PTFE retainer ring?
The solid PTFE retainer ring is an option that enhances the sealing properties. Choose it where you want that extra sealing; choose “Without retainer ring” for the valve without it. If you are unsure, send us the medium and temperature with your request.
Is the Vibron9 suitable for vacuum?
PFA lining anchored in dovetail grooves in the body — suitable for vacuum service; limits per P-T diagram or on request.
Does the valve need a spring or external energy?
No. It closes against reverse flow without external energy and has no spring or pin that could corrode or wear.
Which documents come with each valve?
Valves are pressure tested to DIN EN 12266-1 and ship with EN 10204 3.1 material certificates. The Vibron9 is designed and manufactured to the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU.
PFA or PTFE lining — what is the difference?
Both are fully fluorinated plastics with almost universal chemical resistance. PTFE cannot be melted, so PTFE liners are pressed and sintered. PFA can be melted, so we transfer-mould it into the valve body: the lining is dense, anchored in the body and follows complex shapes. If your specification says "PTFE-lined", a PFA-lined valve meets the same chemical duty — ask us for a comparison for your medium.
